Layout Design Questions
What if I don't know my exact floor dimensions?
Approximate dimensions are fine for an initial layout. If you have a rough floor area (e.g., "about 300 square metres") and ceiling height, we can produce a preliminary layout. We will note on the drawing that dimensions are approximate and offer one free revision once you confirm exact measurements. For clients who haven't built yet, we can design the plant first and advise what building size to construct.
How will I receive my layout drawing?
We deliver your layout via WhatsApp (recommended — fastest) and/or email as a PDF file. The PDF includes: the 2D floor plan, equipment list, and process flow diagram — typically 3–5 pages. For large turnkey projects, we may also include elevation views (side views showing heights).
Can I request changes after receiving the first layout?
Yes. One free revision round is included. You can ask us to: reposition equipment, adjust for a different section of the building, add or remove a processing section, or adjust for equipment found elsewhere. Additional revision rounds are available at no charge for clients who proceed with an equipment order — we want the final design to be exactly right before you build.
How long is this layout design service going to remain free?
Our free plant design service has been running since 2009 and there are no plans to change this. It is a core part of how we build trust with new clients. The only situation where we might charge is for very large projects (100+ TPD) requiring extensive 3D modelling — and even then, we would discuss this with you in advance before any cost is incurred.
