Customs & Import Duties
Local customs/import duties vary by country, typically 5–25% of equipment value in Africa/Asia. Your freight forwarder can advise on HS codes and duty rates before shipment.
Civil Works
Concrete equipment foundations, building construction, main electrical supply connection, drainage systems, and site preparation. Budget $5,000–$30,000 depending on plant size and local construction costs.
Local Installation Labour
If you are not using SinoOil's on-site engineer service, local mechanical and electrical installation by your own contractors is not included. Remote installation guidance is always provided free.
Working Capital
Raw material stock (seeds, nuts), packaging materials, initial utilities connection, staff wages during commissioning, and operating expenses before first revenue. Plan for 2–3 months of operating costs.

How accurate are these price estimates?
Our estimates are accurate to ±10% in 94% of cases based on 500+ quotes issued 2022–2024. The main variables: exchange rate fluctuation (prices are in USD, equipment manufactured in CNY — we update monthly), raw material costs (steel, copper — affect equipment cost ±5%), and shipping rate changes (sea freight rates are volatile — our shipping estimate uses current market rates updated monthly). We state clearly: these are estimates, not binding quotes.
Why does configuration add 55–85% to the base pressing cost?
A full refinery system (batch DBDW) includes 5 large stainless steel vessels (degumming, neutralizing, washing, bleaching, deodorizing), a vacuum system, a steam generator, heat exchangers, piping, and a PLC control panel. This is roughly equivalent in cost to the pressing line itself. Full turnkey also includes storage tanks, finished oil filtration, installation by our engineers, and project management — adding another 20–30%.
Are shipping costs for a full container or multiple machines?
Shipping costs shown are for a typical single 20ft or 40ft container shipment containing one complete plant package. Small plants (1–5 TPD) typically fit in a 20ft container. Medium plants (10–30 TPD) fill 1–2 40ft containers. Large plants (50–100 TPD) require 3–5 containers. Container count affects shipping cost proportionally — contact us for multi-container shipping estimates for large plants.
Does the price include installation and commissioning?
FOB China price includes equipment only. Full turnkey price includes equipment + on-site installation + commissioning + operator training by SinoOil engineers. Travel and accommodation costs for our engineers are charged separately at cost (typically $2,000–$4,000 for Africa/Asia depending on destination). Remote installation guidance is always included free with any equipment order.
